What i liked about the arugment paper

i thought the argument paper was very interesting. i have never written a paper in APA format before. I thought it was a lot more challenging than the other papers we have had to write in this class but i didn't think it was bad. i enjoyed looking up information about my topic and also looking up facts to go along with both sides.

what else i would like to know about an argument

In this unit we have learned about argumentative papers and what they are about. We have also learned how to write them. I know that an argumentative paper has to have evidence from both sides that show supporting details to one side or the other while telling why the other side is good or bad. I would like to learn more about when and where to add certain information into my paper and how that certain piece of information will be useful towards the topic.

last argument

The last argument i was in was with the people of mnsu. I have been trying to find out about my flex dollars and how to convert them, but no body on campus seems to know anything about it. I was told from the goon that works the weekends at the hub that i shold come back to the hub on monday and they will be able to help me. On monday I went back to the hub like i was told and the cranky lady there that seemed like she was having the longest day and when i got there it was only 10 am told me i should go to "that room" and she pointed to it, so i went to "that room" where they would take my money and add it to my flex dollars account. Well it happens to be they don't deal with money at all, so they told me to go back to the hub. Once again the hub told me to go to either the dining center or res life hall. I went to both and they said to go back to the hub. So by the time i was told to go back to the hub for the 4th time i lost it. I argued with the lady that i have been here 4 times and still no help. She got crabby with me and said you can use your mav-cash anywhere too. Lets just say that was the longest way to try and figure out my flex dollars in my life!

my most used fallacy

I have found that in my life the fallacy i use the most is while im walking to class i don't step on the sidewalk lines becasue i don't want it to bring me bad luck. I was always told when i was little from my peers that if i stepped on that line it would always bring me bad luck, but in the end its not the lines that bring me bad luck its just coincidental.

Argument Audience

My audeince for my arugment paper would be focused on women who have gotten pregnant at a young age. Carly is a seventeen year old girl who has had her same boyfriend for the past 3 years. Her and her boyfriend were together one night and she got pregnant. She has had hopes and dreams about one day going to college and someday becoming a doctor at a hospital. She was in shock on how she was going to manage taking care of a baby. She didn't have time now to take care of a baby how was she going to be able to do that and go to college at the same time. She thought her only option was aboration. She wasn't aware of what other options there were. I hope after she reads my paper she will know more about how bad aboration is and why it is considered murder.

personal essay experience

In a personal essay I like being able to write with expression. I like to write notes and letters which made this assignment a lot more easier to write. I also found it easier to think of things to add because I have been the main character in the story. I really enjoy not having to look up information on a certain topic. I could just write from what I have experienced.
In a personal essay I didn't really enjoy not knowing exactly where to place the paragraphs. They paragraphs seemed like they went on forever. I tried to place them in the best spots as possible. I over all liked the personal essay better than an informative essay.

Different Culture Experience

I remember the first time i met someone of a different culture. It wasn't weird at all. We became friends instantly. We both dress the same. We both acted the same, we both like the same kind of music. We played basketball together. She was really cool. I thought it was so cool how good she was at basketball but the cooler thing was she was black and unique. which made her that much cooler. She definalty by far was the best one on our team. As we started to talk and get to know each other, we became really close. Her family and mine are really good friends. Her name is Tempestt Wilson, and we still to this day are best friends.

My best friend moving to willmar

When i was a senior in high school I had a lot of friends. I loved talking to people and just hanging out and doing absolutly nothing, pretty much what we did everyday but i liked being with my friends. I had this one inparticular person named Jacquelyn Kay Pomerleau. We spent most if not all of our time together during our senior year and after. We spent every single moment together. We loved to go to the beach and get tan! We also loved to go shopping with the money we didn't have to spend! We had a job together at lowe's this past summer. She was a Cashier and i was a garden associate. We planned our schedule so we would be able to hang out and still get money at work, before we knew it summer was already coming to a close. On the second week of August I helped her move into her apartment in Willmar minnesota. Willmar is only live an hour and a half away from our hometown of elk river, so she was albe to come back for a few days before i was off to Mankato for college. It was so hard to say goodbye to her on the19th. I cried so hard when we had to say good-bye. I miss my jacquelyn so much! I can't wait too see her this weekend! I am very grateful i am able to have such a good and close friend like her.

my earliest memory

My earliest memory was back when I was in preschool/kindergarten. I went to Guardian Angels Elementary school and I wanted to have the blocks at snack time today. When snack time came around that day I ate my snack really fast and ran so I was the first on to get them. I got there first but this kid that wanted to use the blocks to got really mad at me cause i wouldn't share with him, I took the container of blocks and ran to the green carpet area over in the corner. When i got over there I put the blocks on the table and started swinging my legs between the two tables and the kid thought it would be funny to grab my legs and watch me fall, i fell and ran my jaw into a cement floor and ended up going to the hospital and my bottom teeth turned all black and the only thing i could eat was ice cream. It was the worst time of my life. i remember it.

 

My Exigence feeling

I was watching the price is right and the topic to bid on was dinner wear and this lady went to bid and bid $1100 for the set. i thought she was absolutely crazy for bidding that high. It ended up being that she bid way higher than was intended and the price i was yelling out was closest.

1st day of college

my first day of college has been good. I never thought people would be so shy at first being that they are finally living on their own, but people definalty are afraid to talk. I have a pretty cool FYE teacher, he throws jokes, it's pretty funny. I found some intermueral teammates from northfield. I can't wait for that, it's going to be real great! My day has otherwise been really good. i ended up getting lost when going to my math class. I was in some C classroom instead of A but oh well people are real nice around here and didn't have a problem helping me out. the campus isn't to hard to figure out either. there is twins that i didn't know that go here that i went to school with in junior high. It was good to see them. I have fitness class with christina and we are now workout partners. It has been real nice getting to meet people that aren't just people from high school.
